Piping and Valves Supply & Installation

End-to-End Solutions for Piping and Valve Infrastructure

At S.M.E.I. Projects Namibia, we provide comprehensive piping and valve solutions for mining, industrial, and processing operations. From slurry pipelines to water supply systems and chemical distribution lines, our piping work is engineered for performance, precision, and endurance in harsh operating environments.

With over 25 years of experience in piping projects across Southern Africa, we understand the operational pressures, flow dynamics, and compliance requirements essential to safe and efficient plant operation. Our piping and valve solutions are designed not just to move fluids — but to do so reliably, efficiently, and within full compliance of site-specific design codes and safety regulations.

What We Offer

Our piping and valve services include:

Piping Design & Material Selection: We consult with engineers and project leads to determine the correct pipe material, wall thickness, pressure rating, and corrosion resistance based on your specific process and medium.

Pipe Fabrication: Our fabrication facility in Swakopmund is equipped for precise spool fabrication, cutting, bevelling, and welding — using carbon steel, stainless steel, HDPE, and specialised alloys.

Installation & Commissioning: Whether in-plant or overland, our experienced teams execute on-site pipe erection, alignment, hydro testing, flushing, and commissioning under strict QA/QC protocols.

Valve Integration: We source and install a wide range of industrial valves, including gate, ball, globe, butterfly, and check valves, along with actuated control valves for process automation.

We fabricate and install:

    • In-plant process piping
    • Overland slurry and water pipelines
    • Tailings and return water lines
    • Fire water, potable, and utility piping
    • Manual and actuated valve assemblies

Committed to Excellence for 25 Years

Built for Namibia’s Industrial and Mining Demands

Piping systems in Namibia must operate under intense environmental conditions — from high salinity and UV exposure to abrasive slurry and chemical erosion. We build systems with these realities in mind.

Whether you’re expanding a processing plant or retrofitting a pump station, we are able to deliver solutions that align with international piping codes (ASME B31.3, SANS 347, ISO 3183) while remaining practical, cost-effective, and tailored to local site conditions. We also assist clients with corrosion protection strategies, including lining, coating, and cathodic protection where required.

A Turnkey Approach to Piping Projects

What sets S.M.E.I. Projects Namibia apart is our ability to manage full piping scopes — from procurement and pre-fabrication to field installation and handover. Our cross-functional teams work in tandem with your process, mechanical, and E&I teams to ensure seamless integration with your plant infrastructure.
